You can bolt your Cummins R2.8 Defender R380 Stumpy transmission from Ashcroft transmission using this adapter kit. The Cummins R2.8 Land Rover R380 Stumpy adapter kit works great for most builds.  The R2.8 Cummins Defender swap gives the driver both power and fuel economy.

The Quick Draw Brand kit includes:

  • bell housing; which is the R2.8 R380 adapter kit
  • clutch fork
  • pivot ball
  • bolts
  • retainer
  • modified flywheel. {A $50 refund will be given if you send back your unused flywheel from your Land Rover Cummins R2.8 Crate engine}.  

Additional Information:If you need to replace worn parts just visit your local parts store clutch kit, part number K1675-03HD.  This is a standard 10.5″ clutch out of a Mopar car or truck from the 70’s.   But this makes it easy to order worn parts locally without hunting for a special part number and paying more than needed.  The pilot bearing, clutch fork, and throw out bearing are all included with this kit.  The external clutch slave cylinder is part number CS2326 or CS2324.

This bell housing does not require additional adapters to make it work, it is the adapter. This kit allows the installer a lot more flexibility for placement of transmission and transfer case, perfect for your Rover build.  Made in the USA.   They are proven bulletproof; check the video:
